We are into Memorial Day weekend. Do I need to feel guilty about wishing people "happy" Memorial day?

Beautiful weather for the most part, but still feeling kind of tired. And the oil spill in the Gulf has gone on as long as the biblical flood. That and this month's death still has me thinking of death, grief and parallel universes among other things. Or rather obsessing over them.
